EL TAPATIO FAMILY MEXICAN RESTAURANT

The staff was incredibly friendly! We were greeted and seated immediately no wait. They have complimentary chips and salsa. The menu is huge and extensive! From appetizers to drinks there’s plenty to choose from. The food came out relatively fast. The plates are HUGE! i was not expecting that at all but the food was delicious. The establishment was clean and decorated authentically to the mexican culture. We came twice since it was so good and wanted to try more of their menu! cannot wait to come back next time we’re visiting Colorado (:

Amazing food and experience! I got the Mexican Molcajete and I highly recommend it here. Flavorful and just right. The staff was super friendly and seems to be ran by great people. Anytime I come here for the springs, I will definitely stop in and have some dinner before I head back home.

Went here on Christmas Eve and had an excellent experience. I was visiting Glenwood from out of town and the restaurant we originally planned to go to was closed. We picked El Tapatio next, and it was a great choice! Stellar service, giant portions and delicious flavors. The chips and salsa were tasty too. I’m sad I live far away and can’t visit more often!

It’s been awhile since my wife and I have had both great food and service. We made a little trip down here to Glenwood for the weekend. Came across this place and had a phenomenal experience. Everything was amazing. The food portions were also incredible haha!

Delicious food and friendly service! We came here because they were open late, most restaurants close their kitchen at 10pm which isn’t very convenient for folks who stay at Glenwood hot springs until their 9pm close time and have to shower after. Our hotel suggested Mc Donald’s because nothing is open late but luckily we found that El Tapatio closed at 11pm so that saved us. The service was fast and friendly. The portions were huge, plenty of protein! We enjoyed their cabbage salsa and chips too. The only complaint we have is the ceiling lights are offensively bright and could use a dimmer switch asap. Otherwise it was a great experience!

Friendly and attentive waiter My chicken burrito plate was really good. Great flavors! Pinto beans were very tasty The cabbage dipping sauce they give you with chips is very good too! Come check this place out

All the food we had was excellent! It all came with lots of crunchy fresh vegetables And the flavors were all amazing! Super pretty colorful atmosphere!

We went to this place in a group of 12 for their Margarita special buy 1 get the 2nd half off. The atmosphere was so fun! The staff were great and the drinks even better. There was a man with a guitar playing and entertaining us while we drank and had a good time. Highly recommended this place, even if just to check out the fun vibe!
